Shimla Mirch Paneer (Cheese Capsicum Curry )
Ingredients (Serves Two):- Cheese 250 gmCapsicum 2 nos
- Onion 1 nos
- Tomatoes 4 nos
- Green Chilli 1 nos
- Cream/malai 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
- Cloves 2
- Cinnamon 1 stick
- Salt, Red chilli powder, Garam masala and Turmeric powder according to taste
Pre Preprations: - Cut capsicum width wise.
- Cut onion length wise.
- Cut cheese into medum size.
- Grind tomatoes and green chilly together.
Method: - Heat oil in a pan Add cloves n cinnamon to hot oil.
- When they splutter take them out from oil.
- Now, put capsicum pieces into the pan.
- Stir occasionally.
- After 5 mins add onions.
- When onion color changes to golden brown add tomato puree.
- Stir occasionally and continue heating for 5 mins.
- Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt n garam masala according to taste.
- Fry until oil begins to seprate.
- Now add cream, tomato ketchup and cheese pieces.
- Close the lid of pan n keep on slow flame for 5 min.
- Serve hot.
